Jessica Modeling Career

Jessica and her group Girl's Generation advertisement, endorsements and campaigns for companies like: Haptic Motion, LG, Samsung, Dominos Pizza, Elite Uniform, J.ESTINA bags and other companies. In early 2011, Jessica, along with her bandmates, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Sunny. Jessica had her very first runway for a korean designer's show for the 2011/2012 Seoul Fashion Week at Seoul's SETEC Center on March 29,2011. Jessica had worn a the line " Resurrection by Juyoung". This designer had also created pieces for Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Marilyn Manson. Also in 2011, she modeled for Levi's in a Marie Claire Issue and she was also the cover for the #17th anniversary CeCi issue, for W Korea magazine, and Cosmopolitan magazine.

Life in Girl's Generation

Jessica was the first member to be assigned into the massively popular girl group "Girls Generation". She released two singles with her two of her group members. In english they are called "Bad Older Brother" and "Fantastic!" She also collaborated with the a guy called Onew, a leader of a another popular group and famous group called "SHINee" and together, Jessica and Onew collaborated to release a song called "One Year Later". In her group, they released many popular songs.

Jessica's Career in Acting

Jessica made her debut in theatrical musicals in a South Korean called "Legally Blonde" and she worked with two famous korean actors and the production opened in November 14, 2009. Soon Jessica came as a cameo role in a drama called "Oh My Lady!" in March 2010. On December 23, the directors of a drama called "Wild Romance" that Jessica would the leading actress and the drama was announced to be released in January 4th. That's basically the only drama's she has worked in over the time. Hopefully she will continue her career in drama and become just a good actor as she is a singer!

Early Life

Jessica Jung was born in San Francisco, California. She was born in April 18th, 1989 and she auditioned for a entertainment company called SM Entertainment and she joined the company in 2000. After she had joined SM Entertainment, she had to go through rigorous training for 7 years! After 7 long years she finally debuted into a korean girl group called: Girl's Generation, which now is one of the most popular groups in South Korea and expanding their popularity into North America. The girl group has 9 members and Jessica is one of the main vocals in it. Her younger sister Krystal, had also auditioned for SM Entertainment and she also joined the comapany and she went through the training and she also debuted in to a girl group called f(x). Jessica plays the piano. She is known as the "ice princess" in South Korea.
